COVID 19 and Staying Healthy

COVID 19 has taken a toll across everyone on Oahu, both physically and emotionally.

Here are some tips to stay healthy:

  1. Wear masks out in public, so it limits transfer of respiratory droplets.

  2. As gyms are still closed, there are activities that are free to do such as hikes, walking around the neighborhood, cycling, or enjoying the ocean such as swimming. For joint health, low impact aerobic activities are recommended.

  3. Washing hands for 20 seconds.

  4. If you are doing physical therapy, ask for a home program so it limits physical therapy visits, and limits in person exposure.

  5. Supporting friends, families, and neighbors in tough times will also boost the mental well being of everyone.

  6. Stay safe everyone!
